Scout and I are making incredible progress. Over the weekend I have been teaching him to pick up his feet from one side and drive from zone 3. Lowering his head from pressure on the poll was the first Parelli thing I ever taught him, so he knows that. Feet are getting easier too. Our hoof trimmer is coming tomorrow so that was well timed! Driving from zone 3 is coming. I think that is hardest thing for him right now because he is a little defensive when I have to make contact with him and my carrot stick, so he's not to sure about me bumping his withers. But the weather is nice and I'll definitely be riding later today!
